Celebration Group Homes Inc. in Quincy, FL is looking for Direct Care Professionals to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.
This position is at one of our Group Homes with adults with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Care team member, you would be assisting residents with their bathing, feeding, check and changing, along with other daily living skills. There is some lifting involved as well. Passion for caring for others is a requirement.
We have one full-time position available at this Group Home:
- Full-Time Nights: 6:30pm-6:30am 2-2-3 Schedule For example, you would work Monday and Tuesday, be off Wednesday and Thursday and work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The next week you would be off two (Monday and Tuesday), work two (Wednesday and Thursday) and be off three (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The hours are 6:30pm-6:30am. This position pays $15/hour. If you are scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday, you will make $1.00 over your regular pay rate for those days.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to patients in day to day activities
- Communicate with management about patients health or issues that may arise
- Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, children or the elderly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to patient needs
- High attention to detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Hoyer lifts a plus
