Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients, account teams, digital strategists, digital producers, designers and developers alike – creating best-in-class digital experiences.
- Inform the scope, resourcing, and approach of digital marketing projects, with a specific focus on website work: new builds as well as updates to existing sites, components or CMS content.
- Partner closely with project manager to outline and manage key steps of the website development process, including the deliverables from UX/UI team, content team, and development team to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget.
- Review and oversee work from UX/UI teams, content team and development team to make sure deliverables meet client needs, align with project budget, and meet best-in-class practices for digital work.
- Delegate work tasks and oversee deliverables of internal digital producers anddevelopers, with potential to manage junior staff.
- Collaborate with the rest of the digital team on the management of external digital partners, including freelancers or development shops.
- Educate and mentor agency and client teams regarding digital best practices, new technologies and trends.
- On-board and manage vendors necessary to support projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the changing needs of the agency.
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, web development or agency environment.
- Proficiency in Digital Production of websites of various sizes, including component-based website design.
- Understanding of general best practices for UX/UI design, ADA accessibility, and SEO.
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Positive attitude and the ability to create and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and clients.
- Strong analytical abilities and a talent for creative problem-solving.
- Nice to have:
- A working understanding of common CMS platforms, including Wordpress, Drupal, and/or AEM.
- Web analytics experience (tagging or data analysis)
- Interest in hands-on work with UX (sitemapping, wireframing) or other digital strategy and planning work.
