The Department
CAA's Digital Media division focuses on four core areas including brand partnerships, digital creator representation, content and platform sales and advisory services for tech startups, brands, and media companies.
This unique job opportunity sits in our advisory vertical where the team develops and executes brand and growth strategies in addition to creative-led brand partnerships and entertainment and content marketing solutions for and with leading global advertisers. This group represents many of the most accomplished media companies and specializes in connecting brands with consumers through pop culture moments and entertainment-based marketing and content strategies. With expertise across multiple disciplines, we have the talent, knowledge and relationships necessary to generate the biggest ideas and most compelling solutions and partnerships to ensure our clients stand out.
The Role
We are seeking a Strategy & Business Development Executive who will be responsible for leading brand positioning, revenue models, sponsorship opportunities, and more for entertainment clients in partnership with creative and sales teams. The ideal candidate will bring to each project a unique blend of project management, analytical and research skills together with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
Responsibilities:
- Act as account team leader and senior client advisor.
- Lead business strategies & solutions for new and existing clients.
- Develop revenue models including sponsorship and enterprise partnerships.
- Build brand solutions that include Talent, Distribution, Data, Promotion/Marketing, and ROI/Measurement.
- Collaborate with creative teams on positioning, campaign ideas, development of pitch decks and partnership activations.
- Work closely with execution teams to ensure programs are well transitioned and relationships on all sides are properly managed.
- Create value and effectively communicate client's unique value proposition to partners via email, calls, meetings, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Understand the client roster and product offering to help build incremental revenue streams.
- Empower, keep teams on track, and participate in professional development of staff.
Qualifications:
- 8 - 10+ years of experience within a brand and/or agency environment in content, digital, media and/or social
- Strong knowledge of marketing and entertainment trends, emerging media, consumer insights and the latest digital/social/mobile/video/interactive technologies and activations
- Entrepreneurial mindset and approach to everything they do: self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking, accountable, and committed
- Project management expert with proven experience nurturing and growing key accounts
- Ability to effectively operate in fast-paced, growing and evolving environment and multi-task and prioritize workflows efficiently
- Understanding of distribution across branded entertainment campaigns
- Exceptional communicator
- Written and oral presentation expertise
- Willingness/ability to travel domestically and internationally

This person will be based in the Los Angeles office; Hybrid schedule
Compensation
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $140,000 - 215,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
