Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Digital Marketing Specialist of Auxiliary Services on the Gainesville Campus. The role of the Digital Marketing Specialist will be to provide digital and promotional support for all marketing and communication efforts in the Auxiliary Services department.
Responsibilities
- Coordination within Auxiliary units, and with other University departments, all marketing, communication, and promotional activity under the direction of the Director, Communications and Marketing in Auxiliary Services.
- Develop, implement, manage, and lead Digital Marketing and communication campaigns.
- Provide reports for website, social media, and survey data.
- Create content such as newsletters, press releases, digital signage, and print.
- Assist with event promotion related to product and services.
- Manage Auxiliary Services website, social media, and online presence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud & social media platforms.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to engage audiences with clear and concise messaging.
- Excellent proofreader and editor.
- Creative thinker and collaborator.
- Awareness of contemporary communication techniques and media.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- One to three years of marketing or communications experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
Proposed Salary
- Standard Hiring Range $22.79 - $25.07
