Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative was built on a foundation of added value the cooperative could offer farmer members and continues to lead the way in giving every farmer a strong voice in Congress, with customers and within their communities. Founded in 2010 as the Dairy Business Milk Marketing Cooperative, Edge has advanced to one of the top cooperatives in the country in terms of milk volume represented.
Edge fulfills requirements of the Federal Milk Marketing Orders as a verification cooperative for dairy farmers, while also providing representation on federal policies that affect members and collaboration with other agriculture stakeholders.
Overview
In this position, you’ll contribute to compelling marketing and communications campaigns for the Dairy Business Association, Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, Minnesota Milk Producers Association and Farmers for Sustainable Food by coordinating thought-provoking storytelling and imagery to promote the groups’ brands, explain advocacy positions and enhance the image of members through the use of digital and social communication channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and create social media platforms for all associations including overall strategy, content calendars and analytics
- Engage in community management, including responding to comments and building relationships with others through social media.
- Curate relevant content for use on social media and in e-newsletters
- Create weekly e-newsletters for the associations
- Coordinate print and e-newsletter distribution
- Manage website content and updates for all organizations.
- Collaborate to learn best practices, share ideas and leverage content and campaigns.
Marketing and event support
- Help execute Digital Marketing tactics within campaigns
- Assist with event communications and logistics
- Assist with member recruitment communications and campaigns
- Coordinate member webinars (setup, recording and distribution)
- Assist with new employee onboarding tasks
- Manage contact databases with other staff for campaigns
- Effectively use analytics to measure campaign and social reach
- Attend events as needed
Education
- Associate’s Degree, in Business and/or Communications field (or equivalent) preferred, or equivalent of 4+ years verifiable experience in position with similar duties.
Experience
- Prior experience with in Agriculture preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
