Position Overview


The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing marketing automation software. This role will involve creating and executing email marketing campaigns, nurturing leads and moving customers through the purchase journey, analyzing data and analytics, administering software and integrations, and generating reports. This exempt role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications. 


Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize marketing automation software, primarily HubSpot, to automate and streamline marketing workflows. Ensure proper integration of marketing automation software with other systems and tools, such as ticketing and fundraising platforms, event management software, and analytics platforms. Collaborate with the Marketing, Membership, Special Events, and Learning teams to develop effective marketing automation strategies that align with business goals.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating email templates, segmenting audiences, and setting up automated email sequences. Continuously test and optimize campaigns for improved engagement, conversion rates, and ticket sales. 
  • Implement lead generation and lead nurturing strategies to guide prospects and customers through the sales funnel.
  • Analyze campaign performance, conversion rates, and other key metrics using HubSpot and other analytics tools. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on marketing automation performance, including conversion to ticket sales, to the marketing team and management.
  • Collaborate with The Tech’s IT department to troubleshoot technical issues related to marketing automation software and integrations across the customer journey.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Digital Marketing efforts, including but not limited to digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and third-party ticketing software. 
  • Provide monthly website analytics reports through Accenture/Google Analytics. 
  • Advise senior leadership to new vendors and software to best serve the organization’s reporting requirements. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase e-newsletter subscriptions and manage database. 
  • Complete additional related tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.


Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing automation, email marketing, and lead nurturing.
  • Strong proficiency in marketing automation software, particularly HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and their integration with marketing automation software.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Analytics or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.


Working Conditions and Schedule

  • This is an on-site role with the possibility of flexibility for working some days at an alternative work location. Flexibility will vary depending on the needs of the job.


Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
