POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator with a creative, startup mindset and a passion for food and beverage is a must. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with developing strategy, planning, content creation and execution for our hospitality group. This is also a hands-on role, so get ready to roll your sleeves up.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, schedule, and execute strategic content calendars per platform for each Business Unit
- Community management – increase engagement by monitoring channels for user-generated content, responding to DM’s and FAQ, coordinating influencer programs, and relay feedback and requests along to the restaurant teams
- Identify, ideate, and brainstorm new written and visual content opportunities for the restaurants, including photography and videography for organic and paid social, email campaigns, and CMS update
- Conduct regular audits of restaurant websites, social platforms, and online listings (NYC & Co, Google, Facebook, Downtown Alliance, Guidebooks, etc.)
- Assemble monthly and quarterly social media metric reports and optimization strategies for each Business Unit
- Keep current on best practices and social media trends-- be a thought leader in the space – explore other platforms that would be an opportunity for our Business Unit’s to be on
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years relevant experience in Digital Marketing, specifically social media
- Production and editing of photography and short-form videos
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, Digital Marketing reporting tools, and analytics
- Passionate and excited about creating content on social media platforms
- A collaborative working style
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- A good eye for design, and knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
- Detail-oriented, a team-player and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and climb steps regularly.
- Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is $25.00-$30.00 an hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
