Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven track record of success in the following areas:

  • Operating nationally and being the single point of contact for the Digital and Market Event Services internal client for digital meetings and successfully leading cross-functional project teams;
  • Consulting with the internal client on the most established virtual meeting media based on event objectives, technology functionality, audience size, event & presenter location, playback/CPE requirements, and budget;
  • Maintaining a 360-degree communications system to transfer business knowledge, event delivery approach and event specific information within the Digital Events team, the Market Event Team, Communications team, other IFS functional units and Digital Event customers;
  • Sustaining close working relationships with line of service and IFS clients at the national unit level;
  • Serving as a knowledge specialist at a National level in all facets of Virtual Meeting technology and service offerings;
  • Advising customers on the proper mode of Digital Event/Meeting technology;
  • Being consultative in the strategic planning of Digital Events/meetings;
  • Sharing information and ideas with clients and respectfully challenge requests to improve quality and reduce costs;
  • Escalating unresolved challenges and holding clients accountable for shared success of the meeting;
  • Envisioning fresh, creative and engaging approach to design and planning of Digital Events;
  • Working closely with IT and our production companies to determine appropriate approach for virtual presenters to maximise the use of Video for presenters, and deciding when overlay videos are appropriate, and other event platform tools to create the most engaging events;
  • Organizing work while keeping the appropriate parties informed of the status;
  • Anticipating problems and developing creative solutions to minimize their impact while consulting and liaising with team members/the Relationship Manager;
  • Managing vendors to meet client expectations and confirming adherence to both internal and external compliance guidelines;
  • Working effectively with those who have greater specialization in the field and proactively seeking feedback from those individuals;
  • Coaching, mentoring, and information sharing from those individuals who have greater specialization;
  • Participating in and leading Digital Event projects to increase productivity and leverage resources within the MES team;
  • Using appropriate technology to increase productivity and reduce duplication of effort;
  • Sharing lessons learned with the Digital Events team (using the relevant technology/meetings for knowledge sharing) and suggesting ideas on how the Market and Digital Event Services team could improve its' services delivery;
  • Encouraging and influencing internal clients to manage web conferences that are smaller and less complex;
  • Serving as studio Lead for events in PwC Digital Event Studios; and,
  • Possessing experience with Video production, broadcast technical direction, and broadcast IFB experience is a plus for this role.
