Job description

Are you enthusiastic and passionate about BIM plus enjoy working closely with creative, smart people? Bring your experience and expertise to HGA and our Digital Practice Group (“DPG”.)

 

As an award winning architectural, engineering and planning firm, we are seeking a Digital Design Standards Coordinator who will collaborate and assist with the continued development and promotion of BIM specifically throughout our architectural practice. The role will report to our Director of Digital Design, collaborate and work closely with architects and interior designers from each practice group while providing on-going development of standard content, templates, workflows, and training to support all engineering disciplines nationally.   

 

As this role is expected to work across HGA and not specifically be tied to one location, occasional travel, up to 25%, will be expected to various HGA offices.


  1. Assist with creating Architectural specific 3D BIM content (including Interior Design and Structural)
  2. Assist with creating Architectural specific training;
  3. Develop / Interface with Dynamo scripts for automated tasks;
  4. Assist with developing and improving workflows;
  5. Update and maintain HGA standard documentation;
  6. Provide support and troubleshooting as needed to architectural project teams; and
  7. Participate in regular HGA standards meetings.

  • AS or BS in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Architectural BIM project work (education, healthcare, corporate and government building types preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Revit and intermediate knowledge and use of Dynamo, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, IES and Microsoft Office products
  • A demonstrated understanding of project workflows from design to construction administration, building from knowledge of industry standards, workflows, and data formats

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $54,400 - $73,600.
