Job description

Overview:
Join our Digital Practice Group's project delivery team serving as a BIM leader across HGA! As a BIM Manager/Coordinator, this role will participate in the production of our Architectural, Structural and MEP models for exciting and award winning projects and provide on-going training, user support, troubleshooting, and content creation/development to support the firm's BIM platform, engaging BIM coordination representatives and project teams across the firm. Working nationally across the HGA Enterprise, this role assists in the continued promotion and development of BIM throughout our Architectural and Engineering practice.
This position is not tied to a specific HGA office, but preferred location is one of HGA's California offices. There will be occasional travel to other HGA offices.
In this role you will:
  1. assist with BIM coordination responsibilities on key projects;
  2. assist with BIM strategic direction and develops technical plans, protocols and workflows for continued implementation;
  3. provide continuing quality assurance with project teams to maintain BIM quality and standards, ensures adherence to BIM plans and firm-wide modeling and information standards and maintains continuity of information across multiple applications;
  4. provide general setup, configuration and customization of standard design and production applications;
  5. provides support to BIM representatives in the various HGA offices including technical design, investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions;
  6. assist in training and provides technical support for HGA staff, both one-on-one and in group class setting;
  7. maintain and update current HGA standards, documentation, templates and content;
  8. interface with external support resources; and
  9. handle customization, trouble shooting and product testing.

You will need to have:
  • an accredited degree in architecture or engineering
  • 5 -10 years relevant experience, 10+ years for the management role
  • experience with BIM on education, healthcare, corporate and government building types preferred
  • advanced knowledge and use of Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office products
  • intermediate knowledge and use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Creative Suite, IES
  • a demonstrated understanding of project workflows from design to construction administration, building from knowledge of industry standards, workflows and data formats
  • professional certification in Revit preferred
  • licensure preferred

Salary Information:
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $77,100 - $103,400
