Job Description
Brightspeed is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Analytics professional to join our growing eCommerce team. As Digital Analytics Manager, you will analyze data from multiple sources to support decision-making related to Brightspeed’s website and mobile apps. In addition to expertise in data analysis and the ability to provide valuable insights, this role requires a consultative mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
As a Digital Analytics Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Utilize Google Analytics, FullStory, and other web analytics tools to monitor site performance and customer behavior. Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Provide a high-value consultative layer on top of all data deliverables. Leverage visualization tools (Looker, Power BI) to tell compelling and actionable data stories.
- Collaborate with other Analytics teams within the company to align on appropriate data sources and maintain consistency across reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) in an easily digestible format.
- Create ad hoc reports as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including marketing, strategy, IT, sales, and product development - to define analytics requirements and objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey and optimize conversion rates through data-driven insights.
- Develop digital channel forecasts for sales and account management metrics and monitor progress toward objectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices regarding Google Analytics eCommerce, and web analytics and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Partner with technical team to ensure website data can be tracked accurately through the effective implementation of tags and other tracking mechanisms.
- Assist in the company’s transition from Google Universal Analytics to GA4.
- Contribute to A/B and MVT testing and other experiments by developing effective frameworks by which to measure results.
- Train and educate team members on analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven success as an Analytics professional, with at least 3 years focused on web analytics and eCommerce.
- Experience conducting analysis of on-site user behavior, including 3+ years significant hands-on experience with site analytics tracking platforms (Google Analytics preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into compelling stories for audiences with varying degrees of technical experience.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Solid foundation in sales analytics techniques, including forecasting and trend analysis.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Telecommunications industry experience a plus, but not required.
