Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Dietary manager, performs general duties in the preparation and serving of daily meals. Maintaining a clean working and eating environment.
Duties:
• Prepares breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner
• Helps serve breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner
• When appropriate, helps serve food to residents
• Clears/cleans dining area after completion of meal/snack. May include rinsing pots, pans and utensils, cleaning sink, clearing trash, etc
• Maintains assigned areas in a clean and orderly fashion
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency
• At all times, projects a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor
• Performs duties per schedule
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

• Ability to stand for long periods and stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must demonstrate an understanding and an ability to work with the elderly.
• Experience with institutional food preparation desired.
