Dietary Cook

About:

We operate on a rotating schedule- 4 days on, 2 days off.

- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and restrictions
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with dietary aides to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and order as needed
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas

Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a culinary or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including knives and other culinary tools
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Valid Food Handler's Certificate or ServSafe Certification preferred
