TITLE: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech

LOCATION: West Valley City, Utah

SCHEDULE: 10/HR Day Shift | Weekends Required

PAY: $30.00 - $56.00 Hour DOE

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts and vascular.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform cardiac procedures as required by entity.
2. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable.”
3. Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
4. Provides information and instruction to patients and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
5. Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports / documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. HS/GED is required.
2. One year of ultrasound experience is strongly preferred.
3. ARDMS - registered RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS) (ARRT)ARDMS registered RVT(VT) or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT); or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
4. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)- required.
