HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
to fill an opening with a Hospital System in Overland Park, KS.
Daily Responsibilities for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:
- Proficient in utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment, including color and spectral Doppler ultrasound
- Effectively communicates with patients, explaining sonographic examinations and answering questions
- M-Th 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, Fridays 6:30 am - 1:00 pm
Required Qualifications for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- RDMS and RVT in specialty exams - (AB), (OB/GYN) and (VT)
- RDMS (BR) Breast Specialty is required within six months of starting
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:
- Two years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/Vascular Technologist
- Technical/Professional Training/Degree in: Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
