Job Description
Work arrangement:
- Hybrid: In office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be onsite on Day 1.
- Local candidates strongly preferred; or non-local candidates who are willing to relocate.
- W2 position; 12 months, with possible extension.
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must have implemented DevOps practices/tools in areas such as Continuous Integration, Environment automation, Release automation, Virtualization, Infrastructure as Code, Metrics Tracking on the Azure Platform.
- The Engineer would be supporting ASP.Net/Core based web applications, Web APIs, Web Services, Windows Service, Desktop-based applications with deployment using CI/CD pipeline integrated using GIT/Jenkins and Azure. Experience with branching models in GIT.
- Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins/Bamboo).
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
- 10+ years of professional experience in security engineering, DevOps, cloud security or related field
- Sound DevOps architecture knowledge related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation.
- Must have implemented DevOps practices/tools in areas such as Continuous Integration, Environment automation, Release automation, Virtualization, Infrastructure as Code, Metrics Tracking on the Azure Platform.
- Associate would be working in supporting ASP.Net/Core based web applications, Web APIs, Web Services, Windows Service, Desktop based applications with deployment using CICD pipeline integrated using GIT/Jenkins and Azure. Experience with branching models in Git.
- Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo).
- 10 years of experience developing technical designs in consultation with application/solution architects to set direction of design and development for large application development projects. Review technical design and specification for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced systems analysts. 10 years of responsive design application development experience with a focus on human centric designs.
- Mastery understanding of modern application architectures - three-tier, distributed, centralized, microservices, etc., with experience in REST API. Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request, and response modifications, etc. using the API management platform
- Build, maintain, improve, and evolve our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes for new and existing services to reduce manual/repetitive tasks using an Agile delivery methodology. Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system. Must have 5 years of experience with system design and implementation of build processes and release management with Atlassian Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket, and/or Azure DevOps, and/or Jenkins, integrating multiple platform integrations, such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle, SQL Server, and Windows.
- Should have solid knowledge on Object Oriented Concepts, hands-on experience with C# .Net, ASP.Net, .Net Core, SQL Server and ReactJS
- Work with the solutions architect to set up guidelines/processes on code review. Manage defect tracking for large scale systems implementation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 10 years of experience developing large scale software systems, using Object Oriented programming language such as .net framework, asp.net, .NET Core, Visual Studio, Internet Information Services, CSS, MVC, C++ and JavaScript are Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production releases.
- Hands on experience in ASP.Net Core. The DevOps Engineer will be involved in the Infrastructure, Deployment and Development operations through automation for the digital systems and supporting software tools.
- Azure DevOps - build and release pipeline setup and execution
- Azure DevOps Administration
- Hands on exposure in MS SQL or Azure SQL, Oracle
- Deployment exposure in Azure services - app services, Azure functions, Azure SQL, Storage etc.
- Knowledge of Azure development including Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, API management, App service, Active Directory
- Design and develop enterprise software applications in .NET using MVC in C#
- Design and develop in ASP.NET web API and web-component based web UI
- Experience working with Agile methodologies for the project development.
- Actively participate in scrum team, creation and validation of code and unit tests in an Agile environment
- Proficient in Web Services and WCF, SOAP, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, DOM, HTML, AJAX, Java Script, response web design, angular, bootstrap
- Hands-on experience in web services-RESTful, designing and developing the Web API and WCF
- Experience in Developing User Interface (UI) Rich Web Applications, and Web Service Applications using Front End/User Interface (UI) Technologies like Object Oriented JavaScript, Type Script, Angular 5, Angular JS, Node JS, Bootstrap, Media Queries, CSS Frameworks, C++.
- Expertise in integrating Selenium with the DOT NET framework.
- Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo).
- SADLC - Azure DevOps build definitions and pipelines.
