Plummer Youth Promise is seeking a highly organized, customer service focused individual to join the team as Development Operations Coordinator. The mission of this new role is to drive efficiency ensuring volunteers and donors understand the impact of their gifts.
Reporting to the Director of Development and Communications, the Coordinator will be responsible for Salesforce management, gift tracking and processing, and stewardship operations. They will collaborate closely with all members of the Development and Communications team.
This is an ideal role for someone with Salesforce experience, solid communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational and problem-solving skills. The organization is in the middle of a capital campaign with aggressive plans to grow fundraising, communications, and community presence over the next three to five years. This will present the opportunity to develop additional skills and grow into new responsibilities and roles.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead the operations of a six-person fundraising and communications team. You’ll ensure gifts are tracked and stewarded, maintain the department dashboard and reporting suite, and support the Director. This is an ideal role for someone who loves systems and processes and is looking for an opportunity to join a growing team.
OPERATIONS
- Manage the Salesforce database, ensuring accurate activity, gift, and constituent records
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses
- Maintain proficiency with database systems and identify and recommend opportunities to improve systems
- Manage team expenses and support the Director with general administration
- Ensure data hygiene maintain integrity and reliability of organizational data
- Create, update, and maintain policies and procedures for team systems including standard operating procedures, naming conventions, campaign hierarchy, etc.
DEVELOPMENT
- Prepare invitation, mail, and email lists
- Support the Grants function with tracking and reporting
- Support additional operational aspects of the External Engagement team as needed
- Prepare for meeting and events, materials, rooms, refreshments, and other logistics

- This role is hybrid in Salem, MA. There are times that being in the office daily is required, this is not typical.
