Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Desktop Tech IIIto join their team onsite in Orlando, FL. This resource will be responsible for maintaining the printer fleet and acting as liaison for internal and external customers. This position will work with other team members to manage fleet activity, asset tracking, Automated Supplies Management (ASM) service, and configuration and security settings via Client Imaging and Printing Security Center (IPSC) application.
Duties and Responsibilities:

This resource will be responsible for maintaining the printer fleet and acting as liaison for internal and external customers. This position will work with other team members to manage fleet activity, asset tracking, Automated Supplies Management (ASM) service, and configuration and security settings via Client Imaging and Printing Security Center (IPSC) application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of ~15K networked single function and multifunction printers. Escalates problems to technical staff as necessary
- Maintain fleet accuracy by tracking installs, moves, decommissioning activity, and troubleshooting offline printers
- Maintains printer fleet tools / databases
- Primary contact for Managed Print team on project related activities
- Design, develop, and provide training and serve as SME contact for Managed Print staff on new initiatives and projects
- Provides regular account updates, to include information on fleet status and performance, to the manager
- Ensures success of ASM service through monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools such as Client Web Jetadmin (WJA) and Client Remote Monitoring
- Develop and manage MPS related process documentation
- Assist in reporting of monthly MPS activity as needed
- Process incident and service request tickets assigned to Client Service Manager (HPSM) MPS queue
- Escalates issues as needed to internal and OEM technical support personnel and teams
- Minor travel within 30 min of location (maybe once a month)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be experienced with MS Office suite
- Client WJA knowledge required
- Must be able to obtain printer technical certifications as needed
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Must be organized, flexible, detail oriented
- Must have technical aptitude
