```Duties```
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems, software, and hardware issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and operating systems
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including LAN connectivity, TCP/IP settings, and DNS configurations
- Collaborate with the help desk team to resolve user issues and provide timely solutions
- Assist with the implementation of security measures, including firewall configurations
- Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system (e.g., Remedy)
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and applications
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as LAN connectivity, TCP/IP protocols, and DNS configurations
- Experience with Active Directory administration and user account management
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional support
