Desktop Support Technician - $20.00 / HR
Contract-To-Hire
- Windows : XP- 7-8-10- MS Office Suite
- Responsible for hardware and software upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Active Directory, Exchange, ISS, User Connectivity to Server
- Resolved issues with customers such as VPN access, Microsoft Outlook Exchange, Password Resets,
- Troubleshoot Software and Hardware Issues with Remote users
- Perform installs, moves, adds and changes
- Hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting and repair.
- Diagnosing and repairing Windows desktop and laptop.
- Break Fix – Component level PC peripherals repair and troubleshooting.
- Testing systems to make sure that they are working properly
- Basic TCP/IP Skills. Network Topography proficient.
- Educated many new users of comp u term systems and software.
- Repaired software and hardware computer and net issues
- Assist the existing onsite support team with hardware break-fix, asset management, receiving, and imaging activities at a client site.
- The purpose is to enable the team to double their daily output for this short period.
- Daily tasks will include asset coordination, securely wiping hard drives, and applying standard OS images.
- Also, will be repairing/refurbishing Dell laptops and updating inventory records.
- This person needs to have at least 5 years of experience supporting laptop and desktop hardware.
- A+ certification is preferred but not required.
