You are:
A skilled Desktop Support Technician, who will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer-related infrastructure, including video conference equipment, and assisting employees, including our Senior Management Team experiencing IT difficulties.
You will:
- Maintain hardware asset management and recommend laptop Procurement to meet the organization needs.
- Configure workspace as requested.
- Repair, test, image and clean PC’s, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.
- Manage video conference rooms. Configuration, software updates, hardware issues. Readiness health checks for all major events /meetings.
- Provide support to network team in troubleshooting issues with network hardware, think smart hands and eyes.
- Occasionally support desktop engineering team in imaging and testing new configuration changes.
- Manage mobiles (iOS and Android) hardware assets.
- Co-ordinate with vendors to repair and test hardware.
- Would be outstanding if they have one or multiple OEM certifications.

As a Desktop Support Technician, you have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in PC/Laptop build and PC refresh of Windows and Mac laptops.
- Experience in fixing hardware issues related to PC / Laptop and IT accessories.
- Experience in handling Video Conference configuration and troubleshooting with a bonus if performing health checks using Grafana / Dynatrace / Splunk is something you are familiar with.
- Knowledge in Active Directory (ADDS), SCCM, Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, and JAMF Pro.
- Knowledge of security patching, software packaging & deployment and mobile device management.
Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Stamford, Connecticut 5 days a week, with occasional travel to Shelton, Connecticut.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.88 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
