Job Description
2. Perform analysis, diagnosis, installation, and resolution of complex desktop computer, operating system, application software and hardware technologies, and associated problems.
3. Perform analysis, diagnosis, installation, and resolution of remote access technologies and associated problems.
4. Conduct analysis, diagnosis, coordination, and planning of horizontal network cable management processes.
5. Provide complex technical input to the Desktop Services team and support in selecting and utilizing appropriate tools and techniques for timely service delivery.
6. Work independently in analysis, design, and implementation of desktop solutions to fulfill business unit requirements.
7. Responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of desktop technology life cycle management processes.
8. Coordinate schedules and technical work order instructions to contracted labor for installations, moves, adds, and changes within the desktop computing environment.
9. Demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving.
10. Handle technical documentation of hardware\/software additions or changes.
11. Update inventory additions and changes to the inventory database.
12. Update and close trouble tickets and service requests.
13. Occasional travel may be required.
14. Support Data Center Operations.
15. Potential to be called into the office for high priority work.Skills Needed:1. At least 2 years of progressive experience in the desktop environment.
2. Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and intermediate knowledge of APPLE MAC systems.
3. Advanced ability to perform complex troubleshooting\/analysis of PC hardware, operating systems, and office automation software.
4. Intermediate knowledge of the Windows Server Operating System.
5. Ability to perform troubleshooting and analysis of PC hardware and PC operating systems (Windows 2007, Windows 10) and office automation software.
6. Intermediate ability to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis of network system devices and PC network hardware and client software.
7. Audio Video setup and troubleshooting skills, and intermediate knowledge of MS TEAMS, Zoom integration, and configuration.
8. Ability to perform troubleshooting and analysis of Microsoft Office Suite of products.
9. Intermediate knowledge and understanding of LAN environments, communication protocols, and PC-to-Mainframe access.
10. Knowledge of printer maintenance.Preferred Qualifications:1. College degree in Business or Computer Science.
2. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
