We are seeking a professional level Desktop Support Engineer to join our team onsite in New York, NY for a 12-month contract opportunity! Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications on desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on PCs and laptops, including diagnosing and resolving network connectivity problems.
- Provide end-user support, including resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in person, and assisting with hardware and software upgrades.
- Set up and configure new desktops, laptops, and peripherals for new employees or existing employees moving to new workstations.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, and document solutions and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or equivalent job capacity
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing desktop imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting PCs
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing end user support
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing Software installs\troubleshooting
- High School diploma
Hourly Pay Range: $25-$32
