SalaryVP: MSCI, Inc. seeks VP, Analytics Consultant in NY, NY to manage relationships w/in analytics client base by teaching clients how to harness MSCI's equity & multi-asset class factor models & portfolio construction tools & demonstrating how they can be implemented in portfolio construction & risk mgmt processes. Req'mnts: Bachelor's or foreign equiv in Econ. or rel. field & 3 yrs of exp in job offered or rel. occupation: reviewing equity analytics datasets w/Python incl utilizing Python's visualization capabilities & parsing dataset to demonstrate value; leveraging C++ to help clients implement & debug portfolio construction tools; building automated processes using Python around creation of research sent to clients indicating what equity data signals about stock mrkt; utilizing advanced math incl linear algebra, calculus, differential equations, & advanced stats to explain how equity models work to quant research teams at hedge funds, banks, & trading firms; conveying advanced mathematical concepts in detail to both experts & traders & portfolio manager laymen who utilize data & portfolio construction tools in trading strategies & portfolios. 20% trvl req'd nationally. Telecommuting &/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $152,506 & $152,506/yr. 40 hrs/wk.
