FBM, is currently seeking a dynamic and detailed Desktop Support Technician to round out our IT team. The position will require approximately 50% overnight travel to other FBM offices.
Desktop Support Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day support of end user hardware and software. The Desktop Support Technician will work as part of the FBM Information Technology System Administration Team.

Essential Desktop Support Technician Functions/Qualifications/Education:
Role and Responsibilities

• Desktop and Laptop computer configuration and support.
• Microsoft Office Suite support.
• Support of other authorized business applications.
• Printer configuration and support.
• New location initial hardware setup.
• Other end user support as needed.
• After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Ability to work with a team to accomplish objectives.
• A passport is required for Canadian travel.
• Experience working with a ticketing system to track issues.
• Ability to multi-task, use problem solving skills, and a commitment to high quality solutions is needed.
• Good communication skills and phone skills required for help desk assistance.
