Desk Top Administrator

The Santa Rosa Medical Center Information Systems department has a need for a Desktop Specialist. The organization is in the process of replacing a large number of workstations and end user peripherals to accommodate new applications and systems. The Desktop Specialist will be tasked with supporting our staff at the desktop level with workstations, stationary and mobile, as well as printers, scanners and label printers. Functioning equipment is a necessity for our clinical and support staff to provide our patients an outstanding experience. The applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring that interruptions are minimal. Effective communication is essential. Applicant will be expected to assist IT Team as needed when necessary. This description is a summary of expectations but should not be taken as the complete listing of all expected duties. This position will participate in an on-call rotation with other IT professionals.

Work with Service Now Helpdesk solutions

Install and manage desktop applications and peripherals

Image new workstations using Smart Deploy, following specific enterprise guidelines and standards

Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including workstations, printers, scanners and other peripherals

Perform and communicate workstation patching ensuring compatibility and compliance

Familiarity with Google Suite & Microsoft Office

Familiarity with single sign on (SSO)

Network experience is a plus
