EnVogue is seeking an experienced Textile Designer with a passion for innovative and trendsetting design in the home industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and a keen understanding of textile construction and applications. The role involves creating original, contemporary patterns and artworks for home textile products such as beddings, sheet sets, shower curtains, table linens, and pillows.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative patterns and artworks based on buyers' feedback and consumer trends.
• Stay abreast of market trends to inform design decisions.
• Modify original artworks to suit various home textile applications.
• Develop creative and original painting designs for various surfaces, including textiles and hard goods.
• Consider materials, colors, and textures to enhance the visual appeal of products.
• Contribute, support, and oversee the entire design process, encompassing concept development, product design, revisions, and approval.
• Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in textile design, surface design, or print design preferably in home products, accessories, or fashion
• Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills
• Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Demonstrated ability to create original designs and interpret trend and direction into commercial products
• Excellent knowledge of color theory, print and pattern design, and fabric construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
