This is a part time role on a project basis to be a part of one of San Diego's leading luxury staging companies (www.bluegrapestaging.com). Staging experience is valued and will be preferred.
The ideal team member has a go-getter attitude, an open mind and willingness to learn our systems and processes. You are creative and innovative, but this role requires more than a creative eye. Glamorous on the outside the staging world requires physical work efficiency as we get amazing San Diego homes for sale within a day, creating unique home experiences and changing lives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understanding homes across different architectural styles. Planning layouts, design style, furniture and accents for the stage. We have a training phase to help understand the BlueGrape brand and style.
- Supervising, working closely and supporting the warehouse manager, logistics team. Making sure staging installs move with clear direction, efficiency and are managed well.
- Packing and unpacking staging accents with care.
- Inventory planning for required home projects under direction of the team. Working and collaborating with the logistics, operations team.
- Ability to pick up bins and light items upto 30 lbs
- Support team on project to adhere to plan, quality and processes.
- Participating in staging and de-staging projects as per project requirements.
- Execute projects in a timely manner meeting required client and brand guidelines.
- Follow BlueGrape SOPs, systems and processes outlined for installs.
Requirements:
- Travel for work projects will require candidate to have their own vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed as per policy.
- Experience in staging, real estate, visual merchandising, design is strongly preferred.
- Education: Minimum of Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 3-12 years.
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills.
- Adept with MS Office, Google apps, basic apps and a strong sense of using and applying technology for productivity.
Please note this is a part time, projects based role and hours can vary. Designers average between 15-20 hours per week annually, with some weeks being 25-30 hours in the summers.
