Purpose: Create designs for machines, tooling and/or systems based on customer orders, special requests and current standards of excellence. Make changes to existing designs and processes for improving quality and reducing costs. Reports to designated supervisor.

- Capable of creating part details and assembly prints as directed or as required to meet project specifications.

- Ability to learn how to assist in reviewing customer specifications and providing reasonable time estimates for design requests.

Skills: Essential qualifications and functions gained through training and experience
- Associates Degree in a field of design or technology (or equivalent education, training or experience suitable for this position).
- Previous design or manufacturing experience preferred, as well as the use of CAD software and the ability to create and/or interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Documentation of a current drug screen must be provided prior to start date.
