Design Intern

Lee Douglas Interiors is a full-service residential and commercial design firm servicing clients, builders, and independent designers and offering a retail storefront to the public, stocking furniture, accessories, and artwork.  We are seeking responsible and motivated interns to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with and shadow design teams
• Manage our design libraries, which house hundreds of resources and materials
• Learn store front retail sales techniques
• Maintain files
• Must timely report to work as scheduled by management
• Assist with tagging new merchandise
• Data entry
• Assist with meeting setup/teardown
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Degree & Currently enrolled in Interior Design program
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Revit/CAD, Photoshop, Chief Architecture is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Resourcefulness in finding information and answers
• Respect for details
• Motivated and eager to take on new projects
