This position will report to the Director of Operations, and has no direct reports.
This is an on-site position.
Salary range: $70,000-$95,000 (Based on experience)

Key Accountabilities (results expected to achieve):
Plans and develops robust designs per customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities (tasks that you do to achieve the accountabilities):
- Work with customers to ensure the product will conform to their requirements and meet their needs.
- Assist customers with part design issues, thus creating more robust designs.
- Create detailed written communication documenting processes to be used.
- Work cooperatively with all employees.
- Take responsibility to see jobs are completed when due.
- Develop, evaluate and improve mold building techniques.
- Communicate at a high level both internally and externally.
- Performs all other assignments as required
Qualities for Success: Change
- Preferred 2-year trade school with emphasis on tool making or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mold Designer or Tool Maker
- Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills; effective business correspondence and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems; proficient in the use of design and/or programming software such as Creo and Solid works.
- Knowledge:Knowledge of engineering or technical operations; knowledge of blue print reading; skilled in the use of design and/or programming software and various other manufacturing systems; an understanding of component and/or mold manufacturing and ability to make decisions on in process tolerancing.
- Abilities:To be able to perform daily tasks safely; to work independently with limited supervision; to be able to solve practical problems and work effectively with customers, vendors and other departments.
