We are a full-service design & renovation company in UWS serving busy professionals in Manhattan. We feature a warm modern design for the perceptive homeowner, sourcing elegant and durable materials that are timeless. We help our clients with kitchen, bath, and full house renovations including design, material selection, and project coordination.
We are looking for a self-starter to join our talented dedicated design team to help our clients achieve their dream home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the design team with various tasks and projects
- Create detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Collaborate with designers to develop design concepts and plans
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for design projects
- Research and Order materials, finishes, and furnishings for design projects
- Assist in creating presentations and visual materials using Adobe Creative Suite or PowerPoint
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project completion
- Assist in drafting construction documents and specifications
- Contribute to space planning and layout design
- Conduct site visits for measurements or progress check-ins
- Communicate with clients and contractors and update the status of projects or any changes
- General office tasks: Answering the phones, Receiving and sorting out packages, Monitoring company emails, and communicating with vendors and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software
- Experience with 3D Max or similar rendering programs is a plus
- Minimum 1-year experience working with Residential Renovation Projects required
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost estimation for design projects
- Strong Knowledge of Residential Renovation processes and techniques
- Ability to draft construction documents and specifications accurately
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proactive, problem solver a plus

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
