Job Description: 

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Assistant Designer to join our design team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a passion for handbag, wallet and belt design, a keen eye for detail, and strong CAD skills. The Assistant Designer will support the design team in creating, developing, and finalizing accessory designs, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design Development: 
  • Assist in creating original designs for handbags, Wallets and Belts. 
  • Collaborate with the senior design team to develop design concepts and sketches. 
  • Create detailed CAD images and specs for new designs. 

• Technical Support: 
  • Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and specifications for production. 
  • Ensure all CAD designs are precise and ready for manufacturing. 
  • Work closely with manufacturers to address any technical issues and ensure design feasibility. 

• Trend Research and Analysis: 
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on current fashion trends, materials, and techniques. 
  • Assist in sourcing new materials and components for designs. 
  • Contribute to trend boards and presentations for internal and client meetings.

• Project Management: 
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain organized records of design iterations, samples, and approvals.
  • Assist in coordinating sample production and reviewing prototypes. 

• Collaboration and Communication: 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive product development.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design integrity. 
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new product lines.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. 
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, AutoCAD, or similar). 
• Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and production processes for accessories. 
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills, both by hand and digitally.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and trends. 
• Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Previous experience in accessories design is preferred.
