Freelance Assistant Designer - 4 Week Project

This is a position to assist VP of design in development of the line.

Assist in fittings and in creating tech packs with fit comments for the line development.

Create tech packages including embellishment layouts, print placement, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of the apparel design, garment construction and development process
• Experience with Tech pack development and spec knowledge
• Must be efficient with Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator to create Tech-packs and Embellishment layouts
• Efficient in sketching by hand and on a computer
• Must be very detail oriented and organized

Experience:

• Min. 1-2 years of experience in design
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
• Experience in dresses is a plus.

Weekly rate - $850.
