Position Overview:
The Ali Forney Center invites applications for the esteemed role of Deputy Executive Director of Operations. This pivotal position commands the seamless execution of the organization's daily operations spanning facilities management, administrative leadership, and overarching support for programmatic services delivery. The incumbent will spearhead the development, articulation, and enactment of operational policies, frameworks, and procedures, underpinning the organization's trajectory towards sustained excellence and impact.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Supervision and Strategic Leadership:
- Exhibit visionary leadership and supervision across operations, facilities, and IT systems, guiding a dedicated team towards excellence.
- Ensure programmatic offerings align with statutory, legal, and operational standards.
- Foster a collaborative culture, leading strategic meetings, and ensuring effective supervision channels.
2. Facilities and Operational Excellence:
- Spearhead the management of facility operations across all locations, with a laser focus on program delivery sites.
- Innovate and implement operational, facility, and IT solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Set and uphold exemplary workplace standards, fostering an environment conducive to productivity and well-being.
3. Technology and Systems Integration:
- Oversee the organization's technology landscape, including database, telecommunications, and infrastructure management.
- Manage financial processes related to invoicing, expense allocation, and payment operations.
4. Vendor Relations and Fiscal Stewardship:
- Lead vendor negotiations and relationships, ensuring the procurement of cost-efficient and effective services.
- Secure and manage Business and Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance policies.
5. Compliance, Policy, and Best Practices:
- Architect and enforce operational policies and procedures, aligning with the organization's mission, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with all pertinent regulatory and legal frameworks.
6. Executive Communication and Reporting:
- Contribute insights and strategic direction at leadership meetings.
- Provide comprehensive updates to the Executive Director regarding operational, facility, and technological developments.
7. Real Estate Management and Strategic Expansion:
- Champion the organization's strategic vision for real estate management, site acquisition, and development.
- Lead real estate development initiatives, from concept through completion.
Qualifications:
A track record of success in senior operational leadership, with comprehensive oversight of Operations, facilities, and IT.- In-depth familiarity with the regulatory, legal, and operational landscapes.
