Responsibilities:
- MUST HAVE previous legal office experience, court administrative experience or Clerk of court experience
- Assist in the administration of court proceedings and maintain court records
- Prepare and process legal documents, such as summonses, subpoenas, and warrants
- Schedule and coordinate court appearances and meetings
- Collect and handle fees, fines, and other payments
- Perform research and gather information for judges and attorneys
- Provide administrative support to judges, attorneys, and other court personnel
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE previous legal office experience, court administrative experience or Clerk of court experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Proficient in word processing software and other office applications
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is required
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Familiarity with legal drafting and research techniques is beneficial
