Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Department Secretary for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will be responsible for courteous, accurate and timely communication of information.
• You will interact with family members, as needed, in a customer-friendly atmosphere.
• You will be responsible for ordering supplies on a regular schedule.
• You will enter orders into computer.
• You will be responsible for keeping files/forms in orderly, organized fashion.
• You will be responsible for maintaining work schedules for nurse technicians and unit secretaries.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Previous clerical experience in the hospital field preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
