Job Title:Department Assistant
Reports To:Director
Job Summary:Work collaboratively with all members of the team to provide exceptional service to all patients, visitors, guests, and employees, while meeting all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state, and federal agencies. As well as providing clerical support to the department as needed, including creating daily schedules.Effectively provides Person Centered care and services
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from vendors, visitors, staff, and the public.
- Vendor management, including periodic review to ensure highest quality and value
- Maintaining manifests from the DOT in reference to waste handling
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including End of Month, End of Year documentation and recordkeeping
- Creating weekly schedules for housekeepers
- Effective communication and demonstration of team-based work.
- Strong organizational skills needed
- Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work without close supervision.
- Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities, not noted above.
Requirements- Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions. Two years of office experience and or management. Ability to communicate with multiple customers.
Education -High School Diploma or GED, Business Administration or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Experience - Minimum of 3 years of office and clerical work.
Licensure - A licensed ability to drive may be necessary.
