Dental office in Hollywood seeking an Treatment/Insurance coordinator to assist office manager with treatment planning and everything related to insurance. Treatment/Insurance coordinator is directly responsible for presenting treatment to patients along with different financial options, submitting insurance claims and following up with denied claims. The Treatment Coordinator will promote superior levels of patient service and employee satisfaction while striving continuously to improve the office's productivity and profitability.
Treatment Coordinator must have:
- 3 years of dental treatment coordinator experience along with clinical knowledge
- Must be exceptional with insurance verification, predetermination, submitting claims, posting payments and dealing with denials
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Ability to apply constructive criticism, and offer new ideas to increase office efficiency
- Ability to present treatment plans to patients and discuss financial options/arrangements with patients
- Ability to lead and unify team members
- Open Dental knowledge is a plus
Expectations:
- Achieves revenue goals by effectively managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections and receivables, specialty referral process and miscellaneous operations expenses
- Increases and stimulates new patient growth by supporting marketing and promotional programs
- Maintains excellent patient satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and quality of care
- Ensures office compliance with different regulatory bodies
- Responds to doctor, patient and employee grievances, complaints and inquiries
