Dental Receptionist/Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary patient information
- Maintain and update patient records using dental software systems
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Ensure a clean and organized reception area

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures related to dental care
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
