Dental Receptionist/Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Dental Receptionist/Assistant who will be cross-trained to perform the tasks of a front office receptionist as well as a clinical assistant.

Responsibilities

· Welcome and register patients

· Schedule and confirm appointments

· Answer phone calls and coordinate with other dental offices

· Verify insurance coverage and assist patients in understanding their benefits

· Collect payments and process insurance claims

· Provide chair-side assistance via 4-handed dentistry

· Take digital x-rays

· Sterilize and setup instruments and equipment

· Keep dental room clean and well-stocked

Qualifications

· Experience preferred; however, willing to train

· Proficient in using dental scheduling software and phone systems

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual
