Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Dental Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk in the door. Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients warmly and checking them in upon arrival

- Scheduling appointments and managing the dental office's calendar efficiently

- Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy

- Verifying insurance information and processing payments

- Maintaining patient records accurately and confidentially

- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the dental office

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a receptionist in a dental or medical setting preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

- Proficiency in computer skills and experience with dental office software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities

Desired Qualifications:

Previous dental assisting experience is desirable but not required. Candidates with a background in dental assisting will be given preference.
