We are looking for full or part-time front-desk Patient Coordinators / Receptionists who will aid in making the dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients. The ideal candidate should be well-organized with great attention to detail and possess the ability to interact with others (patients, non-patients, and caregivers) in a professional manner. Furthermore, we want candidates with the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking position to ensure interactions and scheduling run smoothly. We treat both our patients and staff like family, and it's important to us that you are a team player, great with people, and have good communication skills. The candidate should truly enjoy serving our patients and have a natural enthusiasm for the field of dentistry.
About our Office:
Our office is within walking distance of the heart of beautiful downtown Exeter. Our specialties include but are not limited to basic restorative work, crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, Invisalign, root canals, and whitening treatments. The office also offers many dental hygiene procedures from preventative to periodontic services.
Office Hours:
- Monday 9:00am - 6:00pm.
- Tuesday 7:30am – 6:00pm.
- Wednesday, Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm.
- Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm.
- Saturday 8:00am – 1:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and vendors into the dental office.
- Checking patients in/out (i.e. verifying all demographic information on file, updating insurance records, and ensuring patients are scheduled for all necessary appointments).
- Scheduling for multiple providers.
- Answering phones.
- Collecting patient payments.
- Communication with insurance companies for coverage and benefits.
- Document scanning and importation of important files.
- Other daily duties around the office.
Skills:
- Prior dental receptionist/scheduling experience is required.
- Capable of multitasking.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to learn system procedures.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Well-organized and reliable.
- Understanding of HIPAA and privacy policies.
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-time.
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.
