The ideal candidate should have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess excellent communication skills.
```Responsibilities```
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims
- Collect payments from patients and provide receipts
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
```Experience```
- Previous experience working with phone systems in a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical office is a plus
