Full Job Description: Our dental office is looking for a full time, independent, organized, and team-oriented front desk associate that can multitask in a fast-paced high-volume environment with little oversight. At Once Upon a Smile, we expect our staff to have strong interpersonal skills, resilience, good communication, and be able to grow to match our practice. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Monitor and drive down aging balance by tactfully and professionally collecting outstanding payments while treating our patients with respect

· Welcoming and scheduling patients including answering and managing incoming calls

· Collecting necessary documentation and assist patients throughout the check-in and check-out process including verifying/updating patient information

· Collect payments from patients at time of treatment and facilitate insurance verification

· Check processing

· Patient database cleanup when required

· Complete any reasonable duties requested by dental office manager

· Continually drive process improvements and proactively look for ways to create a simplified and streamlined experience for our team and patients

· Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with HIPAA standards protecting patient data

Our Ideal Candidates will have:

· 2+ years front desk experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Dentrix software experience

· Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures

· Able to communicate effectively with patients and other clinic personnel

· Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis

· Cross trained required (dental assisting)

· Coronal Polishing (required)

· Proficient computer skills

· Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities

· Enhance and not detract from the office culture by being an exceptional team player

· Reliable commute to Hoffman Estates, IL

· Able to meet the physical requirements of the job including prolonged sitting, frequent standing, moderate walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds

· Must comply with office COVID protocols

Expected Office Hours:

· Monday: 9AM - 5PM (4PM Summer)

· Tuesday: 9AM - 5PM (4PM Summer)

· Wednesday: 9AM - 5PM

· Thursday: 9AM - 5PM (4PM Summer)

· Friday: 9AM - 2PM

We are offering our candidates:

Hourly Pay: $18-$24/hour dependent on experience
