Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team at our busy dental office. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office.

```Responsibilities```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome
- Schedule and confirm dental appointments using Dentrix.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Handle patient billing and payment processing
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with dental administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient care

```Skills```
- Proficiency in medical terminology and dental office procedures
- Experience with medical scheduling systems such as Dentrix.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.50 per week
