- The Dental Practice Reception and Call Center Support position at North East Dental Arts is a multi-faceted role in which both areas require a friendly, self-motivated and team-oriented individual. This position is extremely fast-paced and effective multi-tasking skills are imperative. The position is offered at full time at 36-40 hours per week.
Primary Reception Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors
- New Patient Experience liaison
- Provide statistics at morning huddle
- Check-in patients and Update patient charts
- Maintain the patient schedule as required
- Maintain reception area, beverage center, and office supply inventory
Primary Call Center Associate Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all incoming calls to the practice
- Makes majority of outgoing calls to support the treatment coordinator and checkout desk
- Ensure the doctor and hygiene schedules are full
Competencies / Hard Skills Required
- Proficient in Word and Excel - Advanced knowledge is a plus
- Handle multiple phone lines - Knowledgeable of VoIP phone systems is a plus
- Extremely computer savvy and a quick learner in regards to computer software.
- Enjoys working at a very fast pace
- Knowledge of Softdent is a plus
- Superior multi-tasking skills and able to handle interruptions with ease
