- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary patient information
- Maintain and update patient records using Dentrix software
- Assist with billing and processing insurance claims
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary
- Ensure a clean and organized reception area
```Experience```
- Previous experience working as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using Dentrix software
- Knowledge of dental terminology
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong organizational abilities. They should be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service to patients. Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate patient records and scheduling appointments.
Please note that this position does not require any clinical dental experience. However, familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is highly desirable.
