Duties:
-This position will fluctuate from reception duties to dental assistant duties during the day as needed. On-site training provided.
- Assist the dentist during dental examinations, extractions and some restorative procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental x-rays.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and take impressions.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage phone systems and handle patient inquiries.
-Training on reception duties (ie: billing, insurance, pulling charts etc).
-Misc. cleaning duties.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
-Time management skills
Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8-5
-Lunch hour is optional
-Off on Wed, Fri, weekends and major holidays
No insurance is provided--however employees receive free dental work (if off-site lab work is required you will be responsible for that balance.)
