Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Utilize Open Dental systems to maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and process billing.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and accurate documentation.
- Manage the office budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Handle medical administrative support tasks such as insurance verification, claims processing, and patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with the practice management team to optimize office processes and enhance patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in medical office management, with a strong background in acute care settings.
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, and other medical office systems.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising staff and fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong understanding of budgeting principles and financial management within a medical office setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $24.02 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
